Accessibility and Universal Design Training Course 2024 (AUDT) - 8th Year

AUDT program aimed to training PWDs to become access inspectors for public buildings. For the 8th year of AUDT, the program is planned to be conducted entirely in a physical format, with 17 participants selected from across ASEAN to attend the course at the Institute of Leadership and Development (ILD) UiTM in Negeri Sembilan from 17 August 2024 ‐ 31 August 2024 (15 days).

This year, the participants were divided into 2 groups and were provided with the opportunity to conduct access audits on 2 buildings at Universiti Malaya: The Academy of Islamic Studies and the Faculty of Law. Subsequently, they presented their audit reports to the Director of AUN-DPPnet, Prof. Dr. Yahaya, AUDT Program Leader, Dr. Mastura Adam, and Dr. Norafida. Their reports are send to the representatives of the respective faculty members to facilitate necessary improvements to the buildings.
