Inclusive Campus Vision Board Competition 2025
The Inclusive Campus Vision Board Competition 2025 was successfully held online on 12–13 December 2025 in conjunction with the 6th International Disability Inclusion Symposium (IDIS) 2025, bringing together students, staff, and faculty to reimagine a more inclusive future for higher education.
The competition provided a platform for participants to present creative and actionable visions aimed at fostering inclusive university environments for persons with disabilities. Submissions highlighted practical strategies to improve accessibility, promote equitable participation, and strengthen institutional support systems.
Vision boards addressed a wide range of focus areas, including inclusive policies and governance, teaching and learning practices, campus infrastructure and facilities, assistive technologies, and stakeholder collaboration. Participants also outlined resource requirements, challenges, and the long-term impact of their proposed initiatives on equal access and opportunities within higher education institutions.
After careful evaluation by the panel of judges, team MUON, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia emerged as the Champion of the competition, distinguished by a compelling and comprehensive vision for inclusive campus, The First Runner-Up was awarded to team Inclusivision, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, followed by team Inclusigama, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia and team UA KauBay, University of Antique, Philippines as Second Runner-Up, in recognition of their innovative ideas

Organised by the ASEAN University Network – Disability and Public Policy Network (AUN-DPPnet) under IDIS 2025, the competition highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving sustainable disability inclusion across higher education institutions.The organisers thank everyone involved and look forward to seeing these ideas inspire lasting positive change across the region.
